Welcome to the Kids & Teens department!

Say hello to the new kid on the block!

The Kids & Teens Department is a new and broader activity concept for children aged 3-15 years old. The three activity areas all focus on activating the body, challenging the children on at least one of three parameters: social development, educational elements or motor skills. Hopefully having these focus points will provide the children with an exciting and active holiday where the children are given the opportunity to make new friends of a similar age in a fun, dynamic and playful environment!

Play Time (3-10 years)

Opening hours: Every day 09:50-12:50
Free play and option to participate in the organized fun activities.

Play Time is Club La Santa´s wonderful morning activity club where young children are being motivated to make new friends, use their body and have fun in organized activities, or simply colour, paint, do various crafts, play, read or enjoy the many toys. Please note that Play Time is not a kindergarten; if children are not used to being left on their own, we ask that a parent stays with them until they feel comfortable with the Green Team members and are happy to stay in Play Time on their own. Children younger than 3 years old are more than welcome to use the Play Time facility (with exception to the organized activities) if accompanied by a parent/ guardian at all times.

Rules Play Time

Parental/ guardian responsibility – signing in/ out procedure.
A parent or guardian needs to accompany the children to Play Time to sign them in at the beginning of each morning. Children cannot stay if they enter Play Time alone. As part of the signing in procedure parents/ guardian must give us their contact number and/ or a specific location within the resort so that we can contact them in case of accident or emergency. For this reason, one parent/ guardian must remain on the resort. The parent/ guardian needs to sign out the child before leaving Play Time. It is strictly forbidden for children to leave Play Time without the parent/ guardian and permission of the Green Team.
Allergies, medical conditions and additional needs:                                                                                                                              If your child has an allergy, medical condition or any special needs, please let the Green Team staff in Play Time know. Please note that the staff can´t take responsibility for giving out medicine or any other special medical treatment. A responsible adult must accompany children with medical conditions, special needs or potentially life-threatening allergies at all times. If your child has recently been suffering from an infectious illness such as chicken-pox, we will require a medical note to allow them entry to Play Time. This is to ensure that they are no longer infectious and reduce the risk of infection to other children. The Green Team reserve the right to prevent admission of children showing signs or symptoms of fever, cold or sickness.
Diapers/nappies
If your child is not toilet trained then an adult must stay with them whilst they are in Play Time, irrespective of their age. There are no changing facilities in Play Time and for hygiene reasons, it is not allowed to change your child in alternative places within Play Time. The nearest changing area is in the bathroom next to the Sports Café.
Snacks/ beverages
It is not allowed to bring in snacks or beverages. Water is available in Play Time.
Personal items
Club La Santa cannot be held responsible for the loss of any personal items brought in Play Time.

Birthdays at Play Time
If it’s your child’s birthday during your stay, let us know at least one day in advance and we will organise a small party in Play Time – you can bring the cake and we will provide drinks and fun! Or alternatively, if you wish to celebrate your child´s birthday outside Play Time, please feel free to borrow the party material (balloons, flags, bunting, etc.) from Play Time.
Safety
Whilst we will strive to maintain the highest standards of safety in Play Time, please remember, we are running a supervised play area only. If you would like your child to have individual attention, you are welcome to join them. In extreme circumstances, we reserve the right to remove children from Play Time whose behaviour may cause harm to themselves or others.

 

Fun Time (3-10 years)

Fun Time is Club La Santa´s afternoon activity programme for children aged 3-10 years old (3-5 years old must be accompanied by a parent/ guardian), and takes place in different areas of the resort. Children can become a pirate and join us on our adventurous Treasure Hunt, put their swimwear on and play beach games, go windsurfing with our Green Team instructor or become a true Olympic champion and win a medal on Olympic Day. The activities are fun and adventurous whilst introducing them to the world of sports at the same time. All children must be signed up via the App or Sports Booking. Please remember that children need to wear sensible footwear, flip-flops are not recommended for exploring or running in and sun cream.

Rules Fun Time

Parental/ guardian responsibility:A parent/guardian needs to accompany the children to the activity to sign them in at the beginning of each session irrespective of their age. Children cannot join in the activities if they come alone. It is strictly forbidden for children to leave the activity without the parent/ guardian or permissions of the Green Team.
Meeting times: Please arrive 5 minutes before the activity starts. Club La Santa reserves the right to restrict access to children who arrive late to the activity out of respect for the other children and smooth operation of the activity.
Age requirements: All children need to be min. 3 years old to participate in the afternoon activities. We allow ourselves to reject participants not fulfilling the age requirements to ensure the safety, enjoyment and continuity of the activities.

Young Time (10-15 years)

Club La Santa offers various organised activities for children from 10-15 years old. The activities are adventurous, fun and introduce them to sports and teambuilding. All children must be signed up via the App or the Sports Booking. Please remember that children need to wear sensible footwear, flip-flops are not recommended for exploring or running and sun cream is essential.

After the activities: Because of the age group and the safe surroundings at Club La Santa, we don’t sign the kids in for the Young Time activities. When the activity is finished the children walk home by them self. Be aware of that certain activities may end 15-20 min. early/late depending on numbers.
