Beach & shopping in Puerto del Carmen

The Biosfera Plaza shopping centre has something for everyone! Overlooking the old town area of Puerto del Carmen, this modern centre houses four floors of shops, amusements and restaurants.

 

You will find over 40 stores including international brands such as Zara, Foot Locker, Pull and Bear, Springfield, Timberland, Levi’s, Claire’s Accessories and many more. When you have bought all the clothes, shoes and accessories you might want, you have several restaurants with sea views, mini golf, a kids ball park, arcade and kids attractions to enjoy.


If you wish to explore further, the old town harbour and the “Playa Chica” beach are just a five minutes walk away. The beach is well renowned as a great place for snorkeling – surrounded by a horse shoe of rocks you’ll find a beautiful array of fish waiting to be discovered. The harbor offers a variety of restaurants and bars, many offering traditional Spanish dishes.

The beach of Playa Grande, with over 6km of golden sand, is also close by with wonderful tranquil waters ideal for swimming.
