Surf School

Learn to surf or improve your surfing on the magnificent beach of Famara, just ten minutes drive from the resort. This beach is known as one of the Canaries most beautiful beaches with warm water, golden sand and consistent waves.

Using special foam boards designed for beginners, our professional instructors will introduce you to the real fun of surfing first on the beach and then in waist deep water. It’s an action packed, safe and really rewarding day which almost anyone can enjoy.

The instructors are also happy to coach those who have surfed before. Their coaching is second to none at all levels from beginner to National Squad level.

A picnic lunch is included and all of our guests will leave with their own “Surf Certificate” to remind them of a fantastic day full of achievement.

Surf School Lanzarote is the only International Surfing Association registered school in the Canary Islands (the Olympic governing body). They are also a British Surfing Association Level 4 Approved school. All instructors are Professional Beach Lifeguards with the S.L.S.A and R.L.S.S.

All equipment, picnic lunch and transport are included, however, we suggest that you take an extra liter of water and some high protection sun cream.

To attend the surf school, you must be able to swim min. 50m.

Children must be older than 8, and those under 14 must be accompanied by a person older than 16.
